Authentic Handloom Craftsmanship

Every Sitara creation is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans using traditional weaving techniques. Each piece reflects the beauty of genuine Indian handloom artistry.

Natural Variations

Since every product is woven entirely by hand, slight variations in weave, texture, yarn, motifs, dye, or finishing are natural characteristics of authentic craftsmanship. These variations are not manufacturing defects but unique features that make every piece one of a kind.

Colour Representation

We strive to display our products as accurately as possible. However, actual colours may vary slightly due to photography, lighting conditions, and differences in screen settings across devices. Such variations shall not be considered defects.

Traditional Handloom Aroma

Authentic handloom textiles are produced using traditional weaving, dyeing, starching, and finishing methods. As a result, some products may have a mild natural aroma from the yarn, natural fibres, dyes, or weaving process. This is a normal characteristic of genuine handcrafted textiles and should not be considered a manufacturing defect.

The natural aroma usually fades after airing the saree or after the first recommended dry clean. Returns, exchanges, or refunds will not be accepted solely due to the presence of this natural handloom aroma or because it does not match personal preference.

Limited Collections & Bespoke Orders

Limited Edition Collections

Many Sitara collections are produced in limited quantities. Adding an item to your shopping cart does not reserve it. A product is secured only after successful payment and order confirmation.

Bespoke & Custom Orders

All bespoke or customized orders require full payment before production begins. As these products are specially created for individual customers, they cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded once production has commenced.

Pricing & Payment

• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
• Prices may change without prior notice due to fluctuations in material costs, artisan labour, or business requirements. Such changes will not affect confirmed orders.
• Payments are processed through secure and certified payment gateways.
• Orders will be confirmed and dispatched only after successful payment authorization.

Shipping & Delivery

Courier Partners

To ensure safe and reliable delivery, Sitara ships exclusively through trusted courier partners, including:

• India Post
• Delhivery

Order Processing

Orders are carefully inspected, packed, and dispatched within 24–48 hours after successful payment.

Estimated Delivery

Delivery generally takes 15–20 business days, depending on the destination and courier operations. Tracking details will be shared once your order has been dispatched.

While we make every effort to deliver within the estimated timeframe, delays caused by courier services, weather conditions, public holidays, transportation disruptions, government regulations, customs procedures, or other circumstances beyond our control may occur. Sitara shall not be held liable for such delays.

Incorrect Address & Refused Deliveries

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or refusal to accept delivery, any additional shipping or re-delivery charges shall be borne by the customer.

Cancellation, Returns & Exchanges

To honour the time, skill, and craftsmanship of our artisans, Sitara follows a strict Cancellation, Return, and Exchange Policy.

Order Cancellation

• Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement.
• Once an order has been processed or handed over to the courier partner, cancellation is no longer possible.

Returns

Returns are accepted only if the product is delivered with physical damage caused during transit.

Exchange Policy

Sitara does not provide monetary refunds for damaged products. If your item is verified as damaged during delivery, you may exchange it for another product of the same value from our available collection.

Exchange Procedure

To request an exchange:

• Notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
• Provide clear photographs showing the damage.
• Return the unused product in its original condition.
• All original tags, packaging, invoices, and authenticity cards must remain intact.

Exchange requests that do not satisfy these conditions may be declined.

Product Care

To preserve the beauty and longevity of your handcrafted textile:

• Dry cleaning is recommended before the first use unless otherwise stated.
• Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or strong chemicals.
• Follow the care instructions provided with your purchase.
• Damage resulting from improper washing, ironing, alterations, misuse, or improper storage is not covered under our return or exchange policy.

Product Inspection

Customers are requested to inspect their order immediately upon delivery. Any claims regarding:

• Physical damage
• Missing items
• Incorrect products

must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, together with clear photographs and the order number. Failure to report within this period may result in the claim being declined.

Product Availability

Every Sitara handloom piece is unique and often produced in limited quantities. If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed due to inventory discrepancies or exceptional circumstances, Sitara reserves the right to offer:

• A product exchange
• Store credit
• A full refund for the unavailable item

Intellectual Property

All content available on Sitara's website, including but not limited to:

• Website design & layouts
• Product descriptions & text
• Photography & videos
• Logos & brand identity
• Graphics & motifs
• Artwork & overall visual presentation

is the exclusive intellectual property of Sitara. No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Unauthorized use may result in legal proceedings.

Fraud Prevention

Sitara reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any order suspected of:

• Fraudulent activity or unauthorized payment
• Misuse of promotional offers
• False information
• Activities intended to harm the business

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sitara, its owners, directors, employees, artisans, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

• Use of our website
• Purchase or use of our products
• Delivery delays beyond our control
• Loss caused by incorrect customer information
• Events beyond our reasonable control

Force Majeure

Sitara shall not be responsible for any delay or failure to perform its obligations resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, fires, pandemics, strikes, transportation disruptions, government actions, war, civil unrest, or other force majeure events.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Karnataka, India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Karnataka.

Changes to These Terms

Sitara reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of its website, services, products, pricing, or these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. The latest version published on the website shall always apply.
